DESCRIPTION
keyboard_arrow_downUn abat-jour ovale taillé dans l'onyx repose sur un pied cylindrique de la même pierre : cette lampe à poser est faite d'un seul matériau, poli sur toute sa surface. La pierre étant translucide, la lumière la traverse et fait apparaître les veines internes, différentes d'un exemplaire à l'autre. L'ensemble pèse 5 kg.
La douille E27 accepte une source jusqu'à 60 W. La température de couleur de référence est de 2700 K, un blanc chaud doux, pour une efficacité de 70 lumens par watt. L'indice de rendu des couleurs est de 60. Le luminaire accepte une gradation et se commande par bouton-poussoir. Il fonctionne de 85 à 265 V et la durée de vie annoncée de la source est de 50 000 heures.
Sur une table de chevet, une console d'entrée ou un bout de canapé, cette lampe de table éclaire par diffusion à travers la pierre plutôt que par un faisceau dirigé. Le rendu est doux et enveloppant, avec une intensité modérée : c'est une lumière d'ambiance, qui ne remplacera pas une liseuse pour un usage prolongé en lecture.
La finition proposée est un onyx clair poli. Sa translucidité est la caractéristique principale du modèle : éteinte, la lampe se lit comme un objet de pierre pleine ; allumée, elle révèle un réseau de veines et de nuances. Chaque bloc étant prélevé dans une pierre naturelle, le dessin, la densité des veines et la teinte générale varient légèrement selon les exemplaires.
La douille E27 laisse le choix de l'ampoule. Une source autour de 2700 K conserve l'accord avec les tons chauds de la pierre ; monter vers 4000 K refroidit le rendu et atténue l'effet ambré. L'indice de rendu des couleurs de 60 indique une restitution des teintes environnantes moins fidèle que sur des sources à indice élevé : c'est un point à considérer si la lampe éclaire une zone où les couleurs comptent, comme un plan de maquillage.
Ce modèle fonctionne par paire sur deux chevets, ou seul sur une console où il sert de point lumineux bas. Ses 5 kg le rendent stable sur un plateau étroit, sans risque de basculement, mais peu adapté à un meuble fragile ou à une étagère suspendue légère.
L'onyx se dépoussière à sec avec un chiffon doux. Comme les autres pierres calcaires, il réagit mal aux produits acides du type vinaigre ou détartrant, qui en marquent le poli de façon définitive. Un simple chiffon à peine humide suffit pour les traces courantes. Il vaut mieux éviter de poser des verres directement contre la pierre, les cernes humides pénétrant dans les matériaux poreux.

What is the difference between an upright floor lamp and a tripod floor lamp?

Is the height of the streetlights adjustable?

Is solid mango wood a strong material for a floor lamp?

The three legs fit into the central plate, the cable runs up the shaft, and the socket connects to the top of the arm. The trickiest part is adjusting the height on adjustable models, which requires tightening the locking screws firmly to prevent gradual sagging.
