DESCRIPTION
keyboard_arrow_downUn abat-jour conique assemblé de dizaines de pièces de verre coloré, serties une à une, dessine un motif de libellules sur fond ambré : c'est le travail du vitrail qui définit cette lampe à poser. L'abat-jour est en verre, le pied en résine moulée à décor sculpté. La taille déclarée par le fabricant est grande.
La puissance admissible va jusqu'à 80 W. La source éclaire à 3500 K, un blanc chaud, avec une efficacité de 80 lumens par watt et un indice de rendu des couleurs de 80. Le luminaire fonctionne de 110 à 240 V et se commande par interrupteur. La durée de vie annoncée est de 50 000 heures. Il n'accepte pas de variateur.
Sur un buffet, une console ou une table de chevet large, cette lampe de table fonctionne d'abord comme objet coloré. Allumée, chaque pièce de verre transmet sa propre teinte : la lumière projetée n'est pas uniforme mais fragmentée en dominantes ambre, orange et vert. Éteinte, l'abat-jour conserve son dessin grâce aux sertissages sombres.
Le coloris proposé est l'orange, dominante du motif. Cette palette chaude s'accorde aux intérieurs à bois foncé, cuir et textiles épais, où les luminaires de style vitrail sont attendus. Dans une pièce contemporaine très épurée, la lampe fonctionne comme pièce isolée, à condition de rester la seule note chargée.
La puissance admissible de 80 W laisse une latitude large sur le choix de l'ampoule. Une source autour de 2700 K renforcera le caractère chaud du verre ambré ; une source plus neutre fera ressortir les verts et les bleus du motif. Le rendu varie donc sensiblement selon l'ampoule installée.
Ce type d'abat-jour laisse passer moins de lumière qu'un verre clair : la lampe éclaire une zone restreinte et sert d'appoint plutôt que de source principale. Sa place naturelle est un angle de pièce, un bout de canapé ou une entrée.
Le vitrail se dépoussière à sec, avec un chiffon doux, en évitant d'appuyer sur les sertissages. Les produits liquides sont à écarter : ils peuvent s'infiltrer entre les pièces de verre. Le pied en résine s'essuie avec un chiffon à peine humide. L'assemblage étant composé de nombreuses pièces, mieux vaut manipuler la lampe par son pied et non par l'abat-jour.

The three legs fit into the central plate, the cable runs up the shaft, and the socket connects to the top of the arm. The trickiest part is adjusting the height on adjustable models, which requires tightening the locking screws firmly to prevent gradual sagging.
