keyboard_arrow_downUn abat-jour de verre bombé, largement évasé vers le bas, pend au bout d'un câble terminé par une douille colorée : cette suspension se limite à deux éléments, le verre et son support apparent. Le corps et l'abat-jour sont en verre. Deux diamètres sont proposés, 25 cm et 38 cm, pour un poids de 2,5 kg.
La douille E27 accepte une ampoule non fournie. Le flux annoncé atteint 1000 lumens et l'indice de rendu des couleurs est de 95. Trois températures de couleur sont possibles selon la source installée : 3500 K, 4100 K et 6000 K. Le luminaire fonctionne de 165 à 265 V, s'installe en montage fixe au plafond et n'accepte pas de variateur. La durée de vie annoncée est de 8 000 heures.
Au-dessus d'un plan de travail, d'une table de petit déjeuner ou dans une entrée, ce luminaire suspendu éclaire vers le bas tout en laissant filtrer la couleur du verre sur les côtés. Le rendu dépend directement de la teinte choisie : l'orange donne un halo chaud et dense, le blanc un rendu neutre, le vert une lumière plus froide.
Trois teintes de verre sont disponibles : orange, blanc et vert, chacune dans les deux diamètres, soit six configurations. L'orange est le plus proche de la palette seventies et fonctionne bien installé en série de deux ou trois exemplaires au-dessus d'un îlot. Le blanc reste passe-partout, le vert introduit un contraste plus marqué.
Le choix du diamètre dépend de l'usage. Le modèle de 25 cm convient à une pose en série ou à un espace réduit comme une entrée. Celui de 38 cm s'utilise plutôt seul, au-dessus d'une table ronde ou d'un coin repas. Un dégagement d'environ 75 cm au-dessus du plateau reste la règle habituelle.
L'indice de rendu des couleurs de 95 est élevé : les aliments et les matières placés sous la suspension gardent des teintes fidèles, ce qui compte au-dessus d'un plan de travail ou d'une table.
Le verre se nettoie avec un chiffon doux non pelucheux, luminaire éteint et froid. Les 2,5 kg restent modérés et n'exigent pas de renfort particulier au plafond, mais la fixation doit être adaptée au support. Le raccordement électrique se fait hors tension. La durée de vie annoncée de 8 000 heures est plus basse que sur d'autres références de la gamme : l'ampoule étant amovible, elle se remplace simplement.

What is the difference between an upright floor lamp and a tripod floor lamp?

A tripod floor lamp, like the Spoty or Plato models, rests on three splayed solid mango wood legs. It has a larger footprint but a stronger visual presence. In a spacious living room, the tripod creates a presence that a simple base cannot match.
Is the height of the streetlights adjustable?

This feature is particularly useful if the floor lamp needs to be repositioned in another room or if the optimal height depends on the surrounding furniture. Fixed models like Rita or Spyder have a defined height that cannot be changed, which means dimensions should be checked before ordering.
Is solid mango wood a strong material for a floor lamp?

It is widely used in the manufacture of high-end furniture precisely because it ages well and withstands variations in indoor humidity without warping. The legs of the Spoty and Plato models are made from this material, giving them ground stability without the need for additional fixings. The natural grain of the wood means that each piece has a slightly different appearance.
What is the return period for a streetlamp that doesn't suit me?

Is assembling a tripod floor lamp complicated?
keyboard_arrow_downAssembling tripod models like Spoty or Plato requires no special tools and generally takes between 15 and 30 minutes. The parts come with assembly instructions. The three legs fit into the central plate, the cable runs up the shaft, and the socket connects to the top of the arm. The trickiest part is adjusting the height on adjustable models, which requires tightening the locking screws firmly to prevent gradual sagging.
