DESCRIPTION
keyboard_arrow_downUn petit dôme assemblé de panneaux de verre ambré et crème, sertis en réseau régulier, pend au bout d'un câble noir : cette suspension reprend le vocabulaire du vitrail dans un format réduit. L'abat-jour et le corps sont en verre. Le diamètre est de 20 cm et l'ensemble pèse 1 kg.
La douille E27 accepte une ampoule jusqu'à 40 W, non fournie. La température de référence est de 3500 K, un blanc chaud. Le luminaire fonctionne de 110 à 240 V et n'accepte pas de variateur. L'installation se fait en suspension au plafond.
Au-dessus d'un plan de travail, d'un bar ou d'une table de chevet, ce luminaire suspendu éclaire une zone restreinte en teintant la lumière. Les panneaux ambrés transmettent un halo doré et laissent passer des reflets colorés sur les surfaces proches. Son faible diamètre en fait une source d'appoint plutôt qu'un éclairage de pièce.
La teinte proposée associe l'ambre et le crème. C'est une palette chaude, qui s'accorde au bois, à la terre cuite et aux faïences colorées, dans un registre méditerranéen ou rétro. Éteinte, la suspension garde son dessin grâce aux sertissages sombres qui structurent le dôme.
Son format réduit se prête bien à une pose en série : deux ou trois exemplaires alignés au-dessus d'un îlot ou d'un comptoir couvrent la longueur sans imposer une pièce unique de grand diamètre. La douille E27 laisse le choix de l'ampoule, ce qui permet d'ajuster la chaleur du rendu.
À 1 kg, cette suspension n'exige pas de fixation renforcée : un point d'ancrage adapté au support suffit dans la plupart des cas. Le raccordement électrique se fait hors tension. La hauteur du câble se règle à l'installation.
Le vitrail se dépoussière à sec avec un chiffon doux, sans appuyer sur les sertissages. Les nettoyants liquides sont à éviter car ils peuvent s'infiltrer entre les panneaux. Comme tout assemblage de petites pièces de verre, le dôme supporte mal les chocs : mieux vaut le manipuler par sa monture lors du montage.

Is solid mango wood a strong material for a floor lamp?

Is assembling a tripod floor lamp complicated?

The three legs fit into the central plate, the cable runs up the shaft, and the socket connects to the top of the arm. The trickiest part is adjusting the height on adjustable models, which requires tightening the locking screws firmly to prevent gradual sagging.
